How to Make the Home Safe to Ensure Baby Safety.

Most children under the age of five have little sense of danger they have no idea what they are getting into and unwittingly find themselves at risk to satisfy their curiosity. Very young children drink anything. Are attracted by moving objects and objects that emit interesting noises, and crawl into small spaces. Thus, at a high risk of suffering drowning, poisoning, burns, choking etc.. This natural tendency to explore the world around them, coupled with their inability to recognize danger and to inhibit its own shares may be serious risk to the child. Here are some suggestions to make keep your baby safety at home.

Home Safety , Make the Home Safe:

Do everything you can to make the house safe. Install protective plastic plugs in sockets, window screens, flaps at the top and bottom of the stairs and barriers around fireplaces or other heat sources. Put strong latches on cabinet doors to keep the baby from ingesting medications, cleaners and cosmetics. Keep cutting knives and electrical appliances out of reach and never leave cords within easy reach.

Home Safety , Security Guaranteed:
At least every six months you should do a general home inspection to ensure its continued safe. If possible, be sure to include outdoor areas such as gardens, swimming pools etc..

Home Safety , Establish limits:

Also make positive reinforcements. Tell the child what they can and can not do. So they know where they can explore as well as which areas are prohibited. Try to establish more rules “do” than “don’ts.” Help the baby to safely explore, your child has a natural need to explore as much as we try to restrict it. To the appropriate extent, teach them to play without being in a situation of risk. Rather than trying to confine them to a specific areas of the house. For example, explain to them never to pick up and put in their mouth piece of any plant, when in the garden. And that they should not get too close to the face of an animal.

Protect but ensure safe fun your child will not learn unless actively involved in the world around them. This always involves some degree of risk. Encourage them to try new activities and explore. But always make sure the child is properly equipped. For example, if you are using proper protective equipment, such as helmet when riding a tricycle or bicycle, and is not playing on some playground with untied laces or cords or loose jacket.
